Our client, a privately owned manufacturer of enclosed gear drives, came to us needing to increase sales and grow outside of traditional channels to better support their long-term plan for sales strategies. They found that traditional channels were stagnating and that new incremental opportunities were needed.

Processes and Solutions

Our role in this project was to both identify and develop potential partners for a joint venture, allowing for the growth of sales through collaboration.

Results

We were able to identify an internationally based manufacturer of hydraulic drive systems. Then, we negotiated and established a partnership between our client and this new company. The relationship resulted in:

  • The co-engineering of complimentary products.
  • Shared manufacturing of detailed components.
  • Assembly and Testing
  • Niche Marketing

Both companies found a significant improvement in sales and profitability while also extending the reach of both companies into new markets that would have been impossible without an established business relationship.
